Well I’m going to talk about “La ciudad de las bestias” of the chilean writer Isabel Allende. First of all I have to say that I am a fan of her because I think she is a fabulous woman, very representative of chilean women, she doesn’t have fear of writes what she wants.
In this particular book, which she dedicated to her three grandchildren, she talks about the adventures of Alexander Cold. He has to visit his grandmother Kate in New York; she is a famous writer of the National Geographic Magazine. Their relationship is kind of weird because even he adores her for being so independent and crude, he thinks that she doesn’t respect anybody and he believe she doesn’t love him. For the other hand she adores her grandson Alex because he is the only person in the world that reminds her youth even though she isn’t that into demonstrated love to anyone.
Then they have to travel to the Amazona where they are going to start their adventures. There he knows to Nadia Santos. She is a brasilian girl that loves her country. They start to know each other and realize how much have in common. I think that this relationship is most interesting of what I’ve read so far. They try to live with their cultural differences and make a friendship. I have relations like that, in which no word needs, with people that understand me just like I am.
The other relation that I can see so far is with his mother. Alexandre goes there looking for some answers to his mother’ illness. I am very close to my mom too, it seems to me that moms are the most reliable persons with you. I could do anything for my mom if she needs.

The most real test

The first thing that called my attention is that almost everything that the test said is true, I`ve never seen in that way though. In many cases we are afraid of make mistakes or pretend to be someone that we aren`t. I have to confess that I’m what I`m just with my closer friends or family. I would like to accept myself as I am and act according to what I like or dislike.
I learnt one word; is unwind which means to relax. And two expressions The first one is to give the first leap which means to give the first step in something and the daily grind which means the daily routine in the city.
I loved the website because it is a excellent way to know myself and to see thing that I can’t always realize, and absolutely will help people to know themselves.
The second test that I’ve made was about love and I have to say that it was really but REALLY truthful. I was surprised how right it was. I love real tests and not the ones that are so predictable that even a kid could tell me the same resoults.

Winter Vacations

First of all I loved my winter vacations because they were too long and I had the posiblility to rest, to sleep, to have fun, to travel and to enjoy this kind of little freedom after four months.
I spent my home time cooking and changing my bedroom`s appearance. I painted the walls, bought a kind of staff and made of my bedroom a nice place to be.
Also I spent five days with my boyfriend in Viña del Mar; we went to party and to the famous place of chorrillanas called J.Cruz hide in a small and short street in Valparaíso. How those that don`t know it, it is a very traditional restaurant in which serve huge and low-price chorrillanas. Moreover you can write a leyend on the table, the chairs, the walls or wherever you want. I really recomended this place how enjoy of good food and don`t have a lot of money to spend.
